Affirmations are a great way to stay in the present moment and to create something new and improved for your future. Here is a simple example:
“I am well, healthy and strong, and I will stay that way.”
This is very useful if you have been exposed to someone who is coughing, sneezing, or just appearing rather ill.
To use this powerful tool, bring your attention to the present moment, take several slow deep breaths, then continue the slow deep breathing while you repeat the affirmation several times. As you repeat this practice, you will begin to see the positive effects, and then the phrase will become more believable.
Another useful affirmation:
“I am:
Whole, Perfect
Strong, Powerful
Intentional, Coherent
Loving, Harmonious
Happy, Healthy
Wealthy, Wise
Over the next several postings I will explore the pairs in more depth. The first pair is here:
Whole, Perfect
Look for the balance in the pairs. Each pair is a way of stating two aspects of a single concept.
Whole: You already have everything you need to do what you are doing and want to do. Perfect: You are in fact perfect and are in the process of realizing this. This is a step-wise process, be patient with it, as it appears to be one of the many step-wise, progressive tasks we have in this lifetime. As we become more and more aware of the deep truth of this concept, we become more and more powerful. It would appear that there are those who feel they are in charge of our lives—such as some politicians and some in the legal system—who would not find it convenient if there were too many of us who really knew and felt and could utilize this power. It would also appear that they work constantly at reducing our ability to use this power. As we ascend the spiral staircase of this knowledge, we bring up not only our own power but all of those that of everyone else in our circles, and eventually, all of humanity.
