Power Tools - Remodel Your Life draws on the similarities and differences between personal growth and remodeling a house. It is a teaching memoir featuring anecdotes and personal stories that link up to different areas that one might choose to improve. There are also many practical tips and tools to make your growth easier. It draws on my 35 years experience working with traumatized veterans in the VA.

In his new book Power Tools: Remodel Your Life author Patrick Litle compares the process of home renovation to his field (psychology) and the remodeling of our everyday lives.
As an architect and remodeling expert, I love the analogy of remodeling a home and a life and the uncanny parallels he draws between the two processes
In home renovations as in life renovations, a lasting, high-quality solution is not accomplished without investing in, and committing to, a successful result. POWER TOOLS clearly illustrates how you can properly plan and perform a remodel of your emotional life, and do it right.
This easy-to-read book is chock full of clear explanations and on-point examples for any of the emotional traps you may have encountered. Additionally, there are simple exercises and “tools” that you can use to effectively assess and then overcome the problems you face.
The book literally discusses the process used to remodel your home, but applies that process to fixing your real life self, so you can implement a successful rehabilitation of your life.
When my remodeling clients followed a logical process like Power Tools describes, the end results fully met their needs and left them delighted. I am excited to see that this same process works when you choose to renovate your emotional life.
I always say “remodel your home, remodel your life”, because I believe that everyone deserves a home they love and are proud to show off.
Well, Power Tools gives you the ability to literally remodel your life.
Here’s to living a life you love.
